Role description:

In this role, you will act as the primary execution partner to the CMO. While the CMO provides the brand vision, core narrative, and high-level strategy, you own the pipeline velocity and conversion efficiency. You will manage external specialists and use cutting-edge AI as a force-multiplier, ensuring that every dollar of our six-figure monthly ad spend is attributable and every stage of the funnel is optimized for a 10x growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Paid Media & Performance Management

  • ROI Scaling & Budget Allocation: Direct management and scaling of high-volume performance budgets across Google Search, LinkedIn, and Meta.
  • Marketing Attribution: Own the attribution model. You must bridge the technical gaps between ad platforms and our CRM to ensure accurate revenue attribution across long, complex B2B sales cycles.
  • Agency Management: Act as the direct manager for our specialist PPC partners, holding them accountable to strict performance targets and ROI.
  • Value-Based Bidding (VBB): Transition accounts from generic CPA targets to VBB by integrating CRM revenue data into ad platform algorithms to optimize for high-LTV customers.

2. Large-Scale B2B Cold Outreach & Lead Intelligence

  • Cold Outreach Strategy: Own the logic for our high-volume outbound engine. We currently achieve a 6% reply rate at a volume of 2,500 emails per month, and we are looking for you to scale this volume significantly while maintaining high response quality and B2B relevance.
  • Revenue Intelligence & Analytics: Oversee the health of the marketing engine using GA4, GTM, and custom dashboards. You must translate raw data into actionable growth insights and conduct rigorous testing of new acquisition channels.
  • Data Quality Control: Audit our automated data pipelines and filtering parameters to ensure only high-fidelity, relevant B2B prospects enter our sales funnels.
  • Lead Scoring & Routing: Work with Marketing Ops to ensure leads are scored correctly based on intent signals and routed for immediate follow-up.

3. AI-Assisted Creative & Agency Orchestration

  • AI-Enhanced Assets: Leverage platforms like Google AI Studio and Nano Banana to rapidly prototype and produce high-quality B2B web pages and display ad variations.
  • Creative Agency Management: Direct our partner creative agency for high-complexity assets, specifically video production and motion graphics. You provide the briefs and ensure their output matches our high-fidelity standards.
  • Strategic Fidelity: Ensure that all assets, whether produced via AI or an agency, maintain the psychological nuance and brand authority required for high-end B2B marketing.

4. Funnel Engineering & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • CRO Measurement & Optimization: Own the measurement of conversion rates (CR) across every campaign and brand. You must proactively identify drop-off points in the B2B buyer journey and optimize the funnel based on the specific data-driven problem.
  • Funnel Recovery: Design and optimize behavioral triggers (e.g., abandoned-cart or draft-recovery sequences) to capture “lost” revenue in the lower funnel.
  • Retention & Expansion: Create and manage automated nurture sequences and newsletters that drive repeat purchases and increase lifetime value across our vertical brands.

Requirements

  • Performance Marketing Mastery: Deep experience with Google Ads (including offline conversion tracking), LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Meta.
  • Analytics & Attribution: Expert-level proficiency in GA4, GTM, and the technical implementation of attribution models.
  • AI Creative Tools: Hands-on experience with Google AI Studio, Nano Banana, and other AI platforms for web design and static ad production.
  • CRM Strategy: Strong proficiency in CRM logic (HubSpot preferred) and lead-scoring architecture.
  • Outbound Operations: Experience managing outbound sequencing software and a deep understanding of B2B lead generation at scale.
  • CRO Proficiency: Experience using data to diagnose and fix conversion friction points across complex B2B funnels.
