Role description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Media Partnerships Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with digital news outlets and publishers. You will negotiate deals and prices, secure content placement opportunities, and ensure that our clients’ stories are effectively communicated to a broad audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development: Identify and establish new partnerships with digital news outlets, online magazines, and other relevant media platforms to expand our publishers network.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms, deals, and prices with media partners to secure favourable conditions for content placement and press release distribution.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with media partners, including website owners, editors, and journalists.
- Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive media partnership strategy that aligns with our clients’ PR goals and objectives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the performance of media partnerships, providing regular reports and insights.
- Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging media outlets, and new opportunities to continuously expand our media network.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of media partnership initiatives and to support overall PR campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in media relations, partnerships, or a similar business development role within the digital marketing industry.
- Proficiency in using media monitoring and PR tools such as SimilarWeb, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz etc.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing media partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
